Meet our leaders

Proverbs 11:14:

We believe in a plurality of elders as the model set in the New Testament, so we have two elders who serve alongside our lead pastor.

Melvin Gilpo

Longest-serving elder at LHBC, leads Outreach ministry. Served with Emmanuel International in the Philippines, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, where he met his wife, Pat. They've lived in Toronto since 1991, raising two young adults.
Sam Aragones

Born in the Philippines, moved to Canada at 10. Studied Biology at the University of Alberta. Met his wife, Colette, through ministry. They share a passion for outreach and have two children, Elizabeth and Samuel.
Arnold Chiong

Born in the Philippines, lived in Canada for 20 years,he works as a Help Desk Analyst at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. He and his wife, Marivic, have six children.Served as a deacon from 2009 to 2011.
